Friday, July 24th, 2009Ludwig van Beethoven was born on December 16, 1770 at Germany. He started to perform professionally at the age of nine. Although his father was the first teacher of Beethoven, he learnt his first lesson of composing from his teacher Christian gottlob neefe who was the court organist during those years. He moved to Vienna on 1787 and got a chance to play with Mozart who was one of the most celebrated composers during those times. Then by 1792 he started to study and play piano along with Joseph Haydn. His first public performance was on 1795. From 1796, Beethoven had his hearing problems which people say was due to unimaginable lead content in his body and he was totally deaf by 1814. But his hearing problems did not stop him in any way he was still composing and playing piano. Then he stopped playing piano after his failure on playing his own composition piano concerto no.5 for the crowd. On 26th march 1827, Beethoven was dead during a thunder storm.
